We had an amazing day. Runners from all 50 states and 40 countries joined us. You were part of an historic day as the legendary Haile Gebrselaisse broke the rarely achieved one-hour mark in 59:24 and set a New York record. Hilda Kibet won a three-way sprint to the finish in 1:10:32, besting defending champ Catherine Ndereba and New Zealand's Nina Rillstone. Check out the complete race coverage.
